New Orleans

It had been a stormy day so we went to the movies and saw "Going in Style" good flic - the rain stopped for us enough to go to Frenchman Street and checked out the bars and then headed to Bourbon Street and ended up at My Bar@635 watching the duelling pianos. They were as good as the ones in Vegas and one of the Piano players was actually blind. I was drinking these frozen drinks called "Voodoo" and the first one I had was pretty strong but was yummy so had another one and got up and danced to the duelling piano players. We left the bar and once we went outside I become unable to stand or speak coherently!! Tim pretty much carried me home and once we got back to the hotel I was sick everywhere. I woke up in the morning and couldn't remember leaving the bar - that was scary!!! I was still really sick all morning and we thought I might have had my drink spiked. The rain was still around and we were catching our plane to LA today and as I was still unwell we went to the movies again to kill a couple of hours. Headed out to the airport about 4.30 and our plane left at 7.30pm. Our stay in New Orleans was a bit disappointing especially after Tampa so we were OK to be leaving. Our last night we were at the Travelodge in LA near the airport and we didn't get there until 11.30pm and. Had to be back at the airport by 10.00am but before that we had brekki at Denny's.
