50th Bash of the USA

It had been a stormy day so we went to the movies and saw "Going in Style" good flic - the rain stopped for us enough to go to Frenchman Street and checked out the bars and then headed to Bourbon Street and ended up at My Bar@635 watching the duelling pianos. They were as good as the ones in Vegas and one of the Piano players was actually blind. I was drinking these frozen drinks called "Voodoo" and the first one I had was pretty strong but was yummy so had another one and got up and danced to the duelling piano players. We left the bar and once we went outside I become unable to stand or speak coherently!! Tim pretty much carried me home and once we got back to the hotel I was sick everywhere. We had our last morning in Tampa and had such a great time there. Our first day in New Orleans - arrived at 4.30 after a very short flight from Tampa to our hotel La Galarie an oldie hotel in a great location - had a walk around to get our bearings and went on a Ghost Tour which was fun and very interesting and then had a walk down the famous Bourbon Street. A very old town and pretty dirty but quite a bit of character in a lot of the buildings. The Mississippi River is a very brown river
