50th Bash of the USA

A great day exploring Tampa / went out to Clearwater Beach absolutely gorgeous and got on a boat and had a trip around the waterways looking out for dolphins and all the amazing houses. Looked through the marinas and did a bit of shopping - love this place!! Stopped off at Walmart on the way home for supplies - got to be done. Now another night of parties going on at our hotel.

Well finished our cruise today arrived back in Miami at 7.00am had brekki on board and departed the ship at 9.30am and got a cab to Hertz. We picked up our hire car from Miami and headed off for a 4 and half hour drive to Tampa. Stressful getting out of Miami but once we hit the highways it was good. Got to our hotel at 4.30 and what a great location. Now time to look around! Party atmosphere everywhere you looked and our hotel has a Beach Bar restaurant attached where they had a live band and beach volley ball comps. We headed over to Whiskey Joes bar and grill for th party on the beach -amazing!!

Day 5 was a day at sea so everyone was on board so it was pretty crowded but managed to get sun lounger and build on our tans. That night had a few drinks in our favourite bar La Luna where the husband and wife duo played who were very good and then went and had a late dinner and watched a bit of Sully the movie on Deck 14. Day 6 we docked in Nassau but Tim and I decided to not go ashore and enjoyed the peace and quiet on the ship pretty much. Choosing wherever we wanted to sit. That night went and saw the Michael Jackson show which was really good and once again a few drinks in the La Luna bar and packed everything up for the next morning. Had to have our bags outside our cabin by 12 midnight and out of our cabins by 7.00am next morning.

Wow another awesome day - we docked at Cozumel Mexico and our tour today was on the Fury Catamaran for a fun day of snorkelling and beaching up at their own play area where you could kayak or SUP or go down a slide or just sun bake - great fun crew with beer and tequila on board and plenty of music - best tour we have done so far loved it!!!
