Washington Day 2

Today was interesting to say the least!! Got ourselves some bikes again and headed to Georgetown to have a look at Washington Harbour then to a marina opposite the Pentagon and back to The Mall to visit the American History Museum. Once inside Tim discovered his phone was missing. We had to go thru a bag check so he thought he had left it there but we went back to them and no phone had been left there. We had just been for a 10km ride so we went to the Apple Store in Georgetown to try and do Find my phone - no luck - so hired the bikes again and retraced our 10km ride. OMG we found it at the Marina we stopped at. What a relief. We could not believe our luck, Tim was feeling sick with worry about what we were going to do and when we saw it there we so happy. We rode back and dropped our bikes back at the docking place (they are all over the city) and stopped off at W Washington DC hotel for a drink then did a search for a pub and found Blackfinns Ameripub which was going off so we tried to get a table but it was heaving but this awesome staff member found a table and game and got us so we were able to stay and enjoy a great meal and happy hour. Good end to the day!
