Venice Beach, Santa Monica and Hollywood

Well a huge first day we had - went and had brekkie at Killers Cafe and then walked down to Venice Beach where we saw all the sights and saw people playing paddle tennis on really small tennis courts and Muscle Beach. Went back to our hotel and got the car and drove down to Santa Monica checking out the pier and the beach - such wide beaches!! Then it was off to Rodeo Drive where all the ritzy stores are and so many luxury cars. Then Hollywood boulevard to take in the stars and the Kodak theatre. Driving is always a challenge in America being as it is on the other side of the road but this car we hired had the added bonus of a vibrating drivers seat (not sure why or for what purpose) but it gave Tim a thrill taking off the edge of the stress of driving and getting directions from all the passengers.
