Bye bye New York hello Washington!!

So our last day in New York with our travelling companions Marni and Gerard and we had brekki at Open Kitchen which was just 2 doors down and such good value. We then decided after Gerard suggested, to head down to Grand Central Station to have a look at the awesome beauty of it. Then it was time to check out of the Hilton Garden Inn and check Gerard and Marni in to the Comfort Inn and us to say goodbye and off to Penn Station to catch our train to Washington DC. It was a great trip so comfortable and heaps of room loved it - then checked into our hotel Washington Plaza Hotel very nice and they gave us an upgrade to a delux room. Dropped our stuff of in the room and headed out to get our bearings - 10 min walk to the White House and heaps of shops and eat places really close. Had dinner at the RawPub which was really nice - we both had a salad!!
